The internal structure of a snail has opened to us many surprising things; now we shall look at it outside. In its body the sexual products, looking for an output, but itself have accumulated, the snail, apparently, cannot help itself. By its structure and proximity of a sexual aperture to the seed tank, self-fertilisation should not represent at not any special difficulties. It is necessary to the mobile and extended body of copulation armed by the seed cartridge, to be bent aside the big channel on which eggs ready to fertilisation rise, and to let out in them the cartridge that fertilisation was made. If an egg by this time do not send in the channel the seed cartridge could be located temporarily in an empty alternate bag which as though has no special purpose, and therefrom already, a suitable minute, directly to fall down eggs when they will seem in the channel.
