As in work “Scream of despair…”, in these pictures bellowed Dali’s method is used – images multiplication. But the manner of painting of A.Semushin is distinct. Secret objects are hidden in “folds” of landscape. Landscapes in both works, painted with the high level of stylization, are created by typical for transsurrealism’s method means – color strips of conditional color, which form hidden from hasty glance reality – secret life of nature.
In the painting “Maitre’s walk to Port-Ligat” transsurrealistic landscape includes phantoms and fantasies of S.Dali during his walks in this Catalonia part, where he settled, when he returned from USA after war in 1948. The sharpest is seen the flying horse. Single figure of surrealism’s maitre gives the image a little bit of sentimentality, elegiac mood.
