Julia Lesnchy is a Russian-born painter working under th influence of such French and American impressionists as Monet, Renoir, Childe Hassam, Mary Cassat, Sargent, Henry Hensche. In 2001 she studied with Lois Griffel, former director of Cape Cod School of art in Provincetown, MA. In Russia she is developing color principles worked out by Henry Hensche, a prominent artist and teacher of this school. She studies color in different light conditions, looking for subtle color harmonies in a plein air landscape or outdoor still life.
In Moscow she has been a meber of artist group shows in the Central House of Artists since 2004. Her works are also displayed in an annual art magazine "Izograph" and a Moscow art gallery "Fusion".
Julia's paintings are in private collections of Russia, Canada and the USA, including Kimberly Clarke Corp., Roswell, GA and Goldmining corp, Toronto, Canada.
She lives in Moscow with her husband and two kids.
Currently i live in Crozet, Virginia, USA with my son Alex.
